Career-service engagement terms.

Scope of services

Ancilla provides career-related consulting, writing, strategy, interview preparation, Reverse Recruiting and related services as described in the applicable engagement, proposal, invoice or service description. Work requested beyond the agreed scope may require additional time or fees.

Confidentiality

Ancilla treats the identity of career clients and the nature of their sessions as confidential, subject to client authorization, service-delivery needs and legal requirements. Clients are also expected to treat Ancilla's confidential materials and methods as confidential.

Client information and document integrity

Clients are responsible for the truth, accuracy and completeness of information they provide. Where Ancilla prepares written materials, the client must review the final content and approve it before use. Ancilla may edit and structure information but does not independently verify every factual statement supplied by the client.

Scheduling, turnaround and participation

Timelines depend on the client's timely completion of questionnaires, delivery of requested materials, responses to questions, review of drafts and participation in scheduled sessions. Delays in client input may extend the engagement timeline. Ancilla may revise timing or scope when requested work materially expands beyond the original engagement.

Fees and refunds

Fees are stated in the applicable proposal, invoice or service description. Payments for completed services are non-refundable. If a client chooses not to use all included components, unused components do not automatically create a price adjustment or refund. Short-term scheduling accommodations may be made when practical. Extended client inactivity may cause an engagement or project component to be treated as complete.

Revisions and satisfaction

Where a service includes written deliverables or revisions, Ancilla will work within the defined revision process to improve the work. Revision windows and deliverables may vary by engagement. Timely feedback is required so work can be completed efficiently.

No employment or outcome guarantee

Ancilla does not guarantee a job, interview, promotion, compensation level, placement or other career result. Hiring decisions are controlled by employers, and market conditions, client experience, timing, competition and client participation all affect outcomes.

Client participation

Career strategy and managed search require active client participation. Clients are expected to provide requested information, respond to questions, review materials, prepare for interviews, disclose relevant active opportunities when necessary to coordinate a search, and make their own final career and employment decisions.

Approval and responsibility

Clients approve materials and communications intended for their use and remain responsible for their representations to employers and other third parties. Ancilla is not responsible for inaccurate or misleading information supplied by a client.

Limitation of responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Ancilla is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from a career decision, employer decision, market condition or information supplied by the client. Nothing in these terms limits obligations that cannot lawfully be limited.
